Meet Coach Bonds
As the Athletic Director for our Tindley Network, Marcel Bonds constantly reminds our Scholar Athletes that “participating in athletics is a privilege that you earn and it’s not a rite.”
Coach Bonds begins his 14th year at Tindley where he was recruited to start our Middle School Athletic program. He’s continued to be an ambassador for Tindley with 1 son, 2 godchildren, 3 cousins, 4 nieces/nephews, and 5 close friend’s children ALL graduating from Tindley.
His strong belief that “intelligent Tindley Scholars can also excel in Athletics” has been instrumental in sustaining our Athletic Department.
Coach Bonds attended Ball State University and is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. He also is a 35 year volunteer of Indiana Black Expo and has been a part owner of 4 nightclubs.
Coach Bonds and his wife Sheila have traveled to 6 different countries together.
