Ms. Saunnie Knotts’ driving belief is that all students have a right to receive a high quality, safe and rigorous education regardless of their demographics. This is her 10th year in education and first year as the Middle School Assistant Principal at Charles A. Tindley Accelerated School. She has taught grades 4th through 10th and middle school is her favorite level to work with by far. Ms. Knotts obtained her Bachelor of Communication degree from Indiana University, Master of Communication degree from Eastern Illinois University, Master of Education degree from Marian University, and an Administration Certification from the University of Indianapolis. Though Ms. Knotts loves the study of human behavior, mathematics is her favorite subject to learn and teach. It reminds her that there is always a solution to a problem, you just have to find the correct equation to solve it. Lastly, Ms. Knotts loves to travel and has been to 15 countries so far. She cannot wait to add more to the list!
