Ms. Goins - Dean of Climate & Culture
Jordyn Goins, a native of Indianapolis and graduate of IUPUI, has dedicated her education, work experience, and talents to impact the learning environment of minority scholars on the road to success. With a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts, Ms. G embarked on the educational field in 2015 occupying such positions as an elementary classroom teacher, grade level chair, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten curriculum writer, and founding team member of a local Indianapolis School. Her talents have afforded her such awards as a 2019 nominee for CLD Minority Education Award and Rising Education Award. While teaching first grade, Ms. G was recognized for the highest growth in ELA and Math School wide in 2018 and 2019.
As she has continues her educator journey, she recently graduated May 2022 with a Masters in Education with a concentration in Urban Education Leadership from IUPUI and starts her Doctoral program in Urban Education this Fall 2022.
Additionally, she is a servant leader and holds many other leadership positions within civic and professional organizations in Indianapolis.
