Meet Mr. Jamie

Mr. Jamie/Mr. Williams (Jamie Foster-Williams) is our Sped Instructional Assistant who currently works with scholars in need of Math support. He is happily married to his long-time high school friend of over 12 years. In his spare time, he does various Handyman and Lawn Care jobs, and his Wife is a Home Baker. His favorite subject is Math, which he specializes in.

Now, he has come a long way to be here today. He started out in 2007 as a volunteer in childcare at The Y (YMCA) in the 11th grade, which led to his employment with the organization in 2008. From there, he went onto working in the schools as a tutor through The Y in 2010. In 2012 while still working for The Y, he began working for Indy Learning Centers through IUPUI as a tutor in IPS. During the 2014-2015 school year he became a Math Instructional Assistant for IPS after receiving his Para-Professional Certification in 3013. Then from Oct. 2015 through Dec. 4th, 2020, he moved on to be the only Math Instructional Assistant at Eastwood Middle School through Washington Township. And finally, on Dec. 7th he began working here as the Sped IA.

He looks forward to seeing what this year has in store for him.
