Meet Mr. Resnick

Eli Resnick enjoys teaching Middle School SAT Prep and College & Career Readiness because he’s experienced the rewards of academic effort firsthand. After raising his own SAT scores by hundreds of points through hard work and practice, Eli opened doors to a variety of fulfilling careers and degrees from multiple institutions. He now lives in Indianapolis and helps his daughters study the same kinds of subjects he teaches at school.

Mr. Resnick holds a B.S. in Biology from Marian University and a B.A. in English from George Mason University. He also earned an AAA in Music from Northern Virginia Community College. He takes no credit for Marian’s national football championship or George Mason’s unexpected Final Four run during his time at those schools. In fact, to balance things out, NVCC’s sports teams achieved absolutely nothing while he was there—though, to be fair, they don’t have any.

For the record, Mr. Resnick claims no magical powers affecting school athletics—unless, of course, he ends up coaching. (And he vaguely remembers that one NVCC professor’s husband went on to do well in politics… so, who knows? Anything’s possible.)
