Meet Mrs. Hunter
With over 24 years of experience in education, Diamond Hunter has dedicated her career to supporting and empowering students through every stage of their academic and personal development. With a strong foundation in social work and school counseling, she has served in a variety of roles that have allowed her to advocate for students’ well-being, promote equitable access to resources, and foster environments where all learners can thrive.
Some of those roles include case manager, school social worker, teen mentor, and school counselor. She has also served as a school administrator, where she led teams, supported staff, and helped shape school culture and student success through a leadership lens. In addition, she is the founder and owner of a counseling and consulting agency, where she supports individuals, schools, and organizations through tailored services and strategic guidance.
Driven by a deep passion for shaping the next generation of leaders, Diamond Hunter brings compassion, insight, and strategic vision to her work. Whether providing direct support to students, collaborating with the community, families and educators, or developing programs that build character and confidence, she remains committed to creating opportunities that inspire young people to realize their full potential.
Diamond Hunter earned her bachelor's degree in Social Work from Ball State University and her master’s degree in School Counseling from Indiana University–Indianapolis. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. A firm believer in personal and professional growth, she considers herself a lifelong learner.
Her mission remains clear: to cultivate future leaders who are not only academically prepared but also socially and emotionally equipped to make a positive impact on the world.
Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on her son at football games and supporting her daughter at volleyball tournaments. She loves to travel, spend time with her family, and catch live bands and music concerts whenever she gets the chance.
