Meet Mrs. Hansen

Tylar Hansen is the Capstone, College Advisory, and Career Teacher. She holds a degree in addiction counseling and social work from Indiana Wesleyan University. Before joining the classroom, Tylar spent three years as a dedicated community partner, earning the Community Partner of the Year award from Charles Tindley Accelerated School in 2024 and helping the Class of 2025 secure $11,500 in scholarships through collaborations with other community organizations. This is her first-year teaching, and she is passionate about guiding students through their academic and career journeys. Outside of school, Tylar enjoys swimming, exercising, and cheering on Penn State football.
