Dr. Aron-Smith - Assistant Principal

Dr. Lashun Aron-Smith, EdD is an award-winning educator and administrator recognized and respected for her exemplary leadership in higher education. With more than two decades of proven success in post-secondary education, Dr. Aron-Smith possesses extensive knowledge of industry-standards coupled with a commitment to meeting the learning needs of students.

She is the founder and CEO of LAS Education Consulting, a firm that address student learning outcomes, curriculum development, instructional techniques and professional development for teachers and strategies for teaching and learning.  Before devoting her work full-time to LAS, Dr. Aron-Smith served in various education leadership roles in both K-12 and higher education as senior director of adult programs, senior executive director of academic initiatives and university partnerships, dean of academic affairs, and executive director of online learning.

She holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Higher Education Administration, a Master’s in Management, and a Bachelor’s in Organizational Communication. When she is not consulting or presenting, Dr. Aron-Smith loves spending time with family and friends and cooking dynamic meals for all to enjoy.
