Meet Dr. McChristian, LCSW
Dr. Jennifer McChristian has a passion for empowering others to operate at the “Crest of their Wave”. She believes in helping others to identify their passion and purpose and providing them with the tools to be successful.
Dr. Jennifer McChristian, LCSW, is licensed as a clinical social worker in Arizona, Indiana, New Mexico, Nevada, and Texas, holding accreditation in five states. Her expertise in research, coupled with her prior role as the Director of Student Success and extensive knowledge of higher education, positions her as a valuable asset in guiding students through their transition to and journey through college.With a career centered on building relationships, Dr. McChristian adheres to the belief that "They don't care about how much you know until they know how much you care."
As a clinician, she emphasizes the importance of establishing connections with students as the foundation of the post-secondary coaching role. Her focus involves instilling confidence and providing the necessary tools for students to develop innovative solutions, overcome obstacles, and realize their aspirations. Dr. McChristian highlights the resilience of students, encouraging them to recognize their Adversity Advantage—a unique ability to be inventive and creative when confronting challenges.
On a lighter note, Dr. Jennifer McChristian is a dedicated coffee enthusiast. Beyond merely fueling her mornings, a good cup of coffee serves as the driving force behind her passion for empowering students. For her, life truly begins after coffee, where each sip represents a shot of inspiration and a dash of endless possibilities.
She is excited to step into this role at Charles A. Tindley Accelerated School, work with many scholars and coach them to reach their fullest potentials.
